Jennilie Brewster is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller whose work bridges personal narrative, community, and lived experience. She produced Fire Through Dry Grass, a New York Times Critic’s Pick that aired nationally on PBS, and founded OPEN DOORS NYC, an arts-and-justice collective rooted in disability advocacy and collaborative storytelling.
Her visual art has been exhibited widely, and her essays have appeared in Catapult, The Rumpus, and other publications. A recipient of numerous residencies, grants, and awards, Jennilie frequently partners with artists and community organizations to articulate their visions, build sustainable creative systems, and secure meaningful support for their work.
She is currently writing a memoir about trauma, art, and landscape.
